Unlike industrial brick that also contains other components, hand-made terracotta is created from a simple mixture of clay and water.
After it has been well blended in an electric mixer, the mixture is left to rest for about an hour on the work surface, so that the excess water can evaporate and the composite remains more compact and able to be manipulated.
Subsequently, the mixture is poured into wooden moulds, in which the clay is then moulded by hand alone.
